High Tee Cafe in Rheine

Never had problems, great tea, great coffee, great cake, nice staff. Is worth more visits!

Great cafe with a huge garden right in / at the Bentlage monastery / castle. The visit is definitely worth it.

Culinary in my opinion not to be recommended. Tried several times because of the pleasant, calm environment. Unfortunately not been rewarded.

I ordered High Tea at Home for my wife and I here today to celebrate the day. Delivery is offered, but I picked it up myself because there is also a free bottle of Prosecco. We got a cake stand that is full to the brim with sweet and savory snacks and a small plate with warm snacks. Then three kinds of tea and the Prosecco. The food was to die for and the tea selection great. The price may seem a bit high at first glance, but you get a lot on offer. We will remember that and will certainly repeat it!

Ouch, with our paddler group we made a short stop at the pier on the Ems and actually let ourselves be tempted to want to support the starving gastronomy. That was a mistake. While half of them, wearing masks, frolicked in front of the food counter to organize coffee, the other half would be relegated from the more than sufficient seating (beer benches) by the staff, as it is apparently not entirely appropriate to provide the underage passengers with the food they brought with them. That is not how it works. Paying guests can also come from the back of the property from the nearby river, dear operator. But it doesn't matter now. A few hundred meters downstream there is another jetty, which offers just as much comfort as we were allowed to today. The catering service was justifiable except for the disposable crockery, the single-walled coffee mugs were a bit hot in the hands ... for lack of a table ... see above ... a shame.

Cake and beer were delicious. The atmosphere was lovely. I loved it.

Super unfriendly landlady, gushes the guests down from above. Teegser were also dirty, as from a poorly functioning or overloaded dishwasher. A shame for Bentlage Castle!

I don't understand why the owner is so rude.

Difficult to reach by car ... Otherwise it's a super cozy café! Very tasty cake.

Great destination, beautiful hiking trails in the area.

Despite multiple agreement champagne reception was a flop. We were basically just on the dry land, everyone got only 1 glass, as a bride I only got a glass on demand. Sad

Food and drinks were delicious. The service was very friendly. The ambiance invites you to relax and feel good. The cafe is always worth a visit.

Incredible unfriendly lessee. A shame for the project Schloss Bentlage and the city of Rheine. Can only advise against visiting this place. We travel a lot within Germany and Europe. But when you enter a restaurant and the landlord speaks disrespectfully and impudently, the Verein Kloster Bentlage has done everything wrong. Can all only advise a few meters in all directions to continue hiking or driving ... There are many great restaurants in Rheine looking forward to customers.

We liked it very much. Great ambience nice service and very delicious cake. Coffee was great too.
